Wright’s Chapel United Methodist Church is located in Echols County, Georgia about 6 miles west southwest of Statenville at 190 Wright’s Chapel Road just off J. Frank Culpepper Road.

• Religious Affiliation:  A United Methodist Church in the South Georgia Conference, Valdosta District.
• Established:  Wright’s Chapel was established in October 1873.  The present Sanctuary was completed in 1950.
• The Cemetery was consecrated in October 1976.
• Size of Congregation:  62 Members.
• Where do they come from:  Mostly within the local community.
• Mission:  Spread God’s word and love within the Community.
• Bible Study and Other Services are announced during Sunday Services.
• Biggest wish item:  That we are a drawing card for Christ and wish to be an effective Church reaching out to people within the Community.
• What makes the Church Special:  Visitors always say that we are a friendly Church and make them feel welcome.
